AQUA Physical Therapy

Dance Medicine is the practice of healing and preventing dance-related injuries through physical therapy, cross training, nutrition services, and education programs specialized for dancers. Dance Medicine looks at the musculoskeletal component of the injury, as well as how the intensity of the training and performance affects the dancer. Movement re-education and nutrition is also explored. Aquahab's Jenkintown physical therapists have a thorough understanding of a dancer’s technique, which enables them to provide the appropriate treatment and return the dancer safely back to their activity.

Amy Simelson-Warr, MSPT has over 30 years of physical therapy experience. She specializes in orthopedics, manual therapy techniques, and is also Graston certified.
